Yoruba Word Of The Week : Ìyanu

Ìyanu is the Yoruba word for miracle.

It's interesting how Ìyanu, in truth, really means "to wonder" if translated literally.

I'm sure we've all experienced at least one miracle in our lives... Ìyanu are all around us, in fact, our just being alive is a Ìyanu.

No matter how small, it doesn't make it any less a  Ìyanu...

Whatever your Ìyanu is...hold on to it...It's extraordinary...

The noun is : Ìyanu  and a simple sentence : "Mo ti ri Ìyanu" (I have seen a miracle).

May God give us a Ìyanu and a testimony that can never die.
