Soul Food : Submission

Hi everyone!

I pray you are all blessed!

Here is this week's verse of the week :

"Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness."

- Romans 6 : 13

May God give us the grace to offer ourselves TOTALLY to Him. God has bought us with the precious blood of His is son Jesus Christ. Imagine you buy a pair of shoes for example, imagine the shoes comes to life and then whenever you want to go to work the shoes stubbornly take you some where else. This is just an example but this is exactly what we do when we call ourselves Christians, brought by God and we still do not submit totally to Him. We have been BOUGHT and we are HIS, his SLAVES. Are slaves allowed to object to their master? NO. God is our GOD and He is a good God.
He has our interest at heart ("for I know the plans I have towards you" 29 : 11) and the truth of the matter is, we can not succeed physically or spiritually without God. HE is the key.

Another truth is, if you do not submit yourself to God, even in the little things, you are giving yourself to the devil (we will sin) and the wages of sin is death. There is no in between. It's either you are for God or against Him ("he who is not with me is against me" Matthew 12 :30). If you do not submit to God totally it is as if you are not doing it at all.
Please, let's pray to God to give us the strength and grace to totally submit to Him and for Him to point out to us ways we have not been submitting to Him. By letting God rule over in your life totally and letting Him use you, He will prosper your ways and and keep you always from evil, He will exalt you and make even your enemies to be at peace with you, He will use you to do the work of His kingdom and all the things you do will truly be righteous. Remember the Kingdom of God is al about "righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy ghost" (Romans 14 :17). And by the almighty God of God, may we all make heaven. Amen.

God bless you all richly and teach us how to live according to His will everyday!!!
